Biography

Leah Howard is a freshman meteorology major at Millersville University. She currently resides in Woodbine, Maryland. From about the age of twelve Leah knew she wanted to study the weather after having a close encounter with a tornado at school. Leah is involved in various clubs at Millersville including multiple in the meteorology department. In November of 2024 she joined Georgia Tech alongside a few other meteorology students to conduct research in Virginia. Outside of meteorology, Leah loves to spend time with her family and friends, play tennis, read, and travel.
